The typical commercial building has either one or two revenue meters: essential and non-essential power. Downstream from these meters are the check meters that read the power usage of the mechanical plant, lighting control, and general power. These check meters are physically read weekly or monthly.

Our time-of-use metering system is a web-based data collection tool that automatically reads the metering data every 15 minutes and displays the collected data in a graph form. This enables the client to see actual real-time power consumption at any specific time.

Once collected, the data is archived providing the ability to compare current against historical usage across time periods.
